Started off supping Tetley mild in the late 60s than graduated to brown and bitter, then bitter, and now lager, most young uns, are drinking that oirish cider in my local.

i'll drink owt.

 

 

Like a bitter with a meal. Whereas lager is if your around town.

I still drink Mild if its on. A lot of pubs don't serve Mild anymore so I drink bitter.

I also like a drop of malt whiskey

 

Lager is for queers and girlies.

I must be a queer or a girlie, not sure which.

 

Bitter is warm and flat and plain nasty in my experience.

 

 

HOWEVER in scotland a good pint of heavy is cold and strong and exactly what I like.

 

80 shilling is the stuff, or Belhaven

 

Boddingtons Tetleys and Smiths are piss water

 

I drink lager in England and beer in Scotland

 

 

I do like a nice malt though
