September 5, 200619 yr We are not a London or Manchester. We are a medium sized town with a world class team loking for world class support. I urge everyone in Bolton to support the team. Big Sam has made us all proud. If Man United only had one thousand fans where do you think thay would be. Keep Bolton strong. support the team. Be proud be Bolton. Shame we don't have world class spellers!!!!
September 5, 200619 yr http://www.boltoneveningnews.co.uk/wandere...rd_division.php That???s a crap letter. World class team? That made me laugh out loud that did. Is this the world class team that hasn???t won a major trophy since 1958? The same world class team that couldn???t beat bottom of the league Charlton with an extra man? We currently have NO WORLD CLASS players. How many of our squad made any impact at the World Cup? Er, none. World class? We???re only just the best team in Bolton.

Shame on you all for not getting in there first with that view fellow posters. When will you all realise she's right?
September 5, 200619 yr Negativity on this board is shocking! i'm sorry but some of the points are good but why dwell on them so much? Find some people's attitude really bad!
September 5, 200619 yr Author the sentiment of the letter is bang on, we are a match for any team in the world on our day, that to me, makes us a world class team, we should be proud that our club from a provincial unfashionable northern town can compete with anybody, i think every one on this board agrees with that, except Natasha and she does not count because she aint bolton.
September 5, 200619 yr yes the letter is slightly exaggerated but so are the views of some the the people on here who say that football/bwfc has gone to pot... try having a balanced view ffs! Edited September 5, 200619 yr by HomerJay
September 5, 200619 yr we are a match for any team in the world on our day. Every fan in the country thinks that. You can???t finish 8th in the league and only reach the last 32 of the UEFA Cup and declare yourself world class. You delude yourself.
September 5, 200619 yr --> QUOTE(James B @ Sep 5 2006, 10:38 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh? Well, being the only professional team from Bolton we should be the best. Having said that, there are probably some decent amateur sides in the area that play against the long ball every week ??? and you know we don???t have a plan B. So maybe I was wrong. We are one of the BETTER teams from Bolton.

September 5, 200619 yr You can???t finish 8th in the league and only reach the last 32 of the UEFA Cup and declare yourself world class. Seems like you may have accidently let your guard down - but I wouldn't have expected you to keep up the pretence for ever. On to the next club now? Please!
September 5, 200619 yr http://www.boltoneveningnews.co.uk/wandere...rd_division.php Crowds were pretty good when we won the third in the 70's.
