Underpants Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Like I said on a George's thread, it's got to be a train job this one.

george Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 what date (and time) is it - do we know for sure ?Th'east Midlands Whites will be there anyhow. On the BBC website it is down as a 3pm kick off on the Saturday. It isnt one of the 4 televised ties.
Hutch Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Word of warning before everyone books trains, etc... Some Donny lads on their main site think it could be Friday night with both Sheffield clubs being at home in the cup
brixton Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Word of warning before everyone books trains, etc... Some Donny lads on their main site think it could be Friday night with both Sheffield clubs being at home in the cup Sounds good for stopping over then.
george Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Man City are at Sheff Wed that afternoon. the cheapest return at the moment is ??13.60
YATESY Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 (edited) Any idea how many tickets for away fans the new ground will allow? A lot of interest in watching this away game with plenty of the long serving flask-brigade in the ESU even talking about it last Saturday! EDIT: thinking about it, is the FA Cup still 20% of the ground for away supporters when safety and segregation allows? If so this will be 15,000 x 20% = 3,000 Tickets could be at a premium. Guest as Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Sod City away & Newcastle at the library - Donny sounds good to me
SatanGreavsie Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Don't know how gospel it is, but the guy on this Rivals thread: http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=1...toid=2120419375 suggests 2070 is the limit for away fans.
jules_darby Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 i can forsee a Carling Cup Ticket Fiasco!
YATESY Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 suggests 2070 is the limit for away fans. That may the case for league games but surely a new ground has the flexibility to accomodate the 20% that is needed in the FA Cup. We could lend them some of the moveable onion bags that we use for segregation!

jules_darby Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 2,070 would be enough. We don't even sell out Man City We take 1,000 to places like Everton.
