IMO its always good to see the club signing up young players. Even if you end up signing one or two duff ones eventually you'll unearth a gem.

the swiss lad is a cracking signing, if ashley young goes for 10m, then it's like having a 15m player. pity we couldn't get him for longer than 2 yrs

Never heard of Gerald Cid, but Dzemaili is supposed to be extremely promising. I think that's a bit of a coup.....

I've seen a bit of Cid. He looks quick and tidy and he's decent in the air, as you might expect.

 

If you're looking for a particularly tenuous Bolton link, he scored the only goal of the game against Le Mans just before Christmas.

Yeah,these two look real good prospects!The swiss guy looks very promising and with both of them having there best years infront of them i think we've done well here!

Aye maybe, but also the other way around - he's probably on bigger wages than the French lad as he was a target for quite a few clubs, but he's unproven at Prem level so my guess is we wouldn't neccesarily want him on (relatively) decent wages if he never makes the grade. The arrangement works both ways, I just hope that if he looks good, we avoid the Haim situation and try and get him a better, longer contract...
