Watermillock? If so, iv'e been a coupla times and it's decent. I think it's better to go at lunch time, because there are big queues for the carvery at 6-7pm. Nice fresh grub - and plenty of it :good:

Tis good Kempo, ?5.25 per person I think, you get your choice of meat(s), massive yorkshire puds, taters and fresh veg, you can go back for as much veg as you want.

The gammon is my favourite, although if you ask for 'some of all three' you get around 5 slices of meat, whereas say you just ask for beef, you get I think 2 thin slices.

anyone who thinks the food there is good must have some shit food at home

Fairs fair. HSP probably didn't put it very eloquently but tastebuds are funny things and do bring out the subjective side of our personalities.

Personally I'd rather starve than eat a roast dinner (for those who know me, yes, I know that'd take a very long time before you'd notice). But each to their own.

I went the other week and for the price you can`t beat it.

I heard the ale was reasonably priced :drinks:

My Mum said it was very good but I don't trust her judgment much.

Did try and go once about 6.30pm on a Sunday and it was f?cking rammed.

Obviously quite popular which is a good sign. Or that the people of Bolton have poor taste.

There was a 45 minute wait for a table so we went elsewhere. You can't book a table either which is a bit of a ballache.

It have been busy because it was cheap.
