Sweep
Mrs CWP has mooted that she is going to buy me an 80gb Ipod for my birthday. Before she goes splashing out just over ?200, does anybody have any recommendations for similair devices from other folk that I/she should maybe consider? Any help would be much appreciated. Moderators Carlos Posted August 5, 2007 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2007 The problem with iPods is that the drives break too easily and the screens scratch as soon as you take them out of the box. My current one cost ?135 from the Apple refurb shop and was value for money, I wouldn't shell out ?200 for one though. I'd go for a Nano unless you have large amounts of music. no balls
I find the orginal (Apple) iPod the best. Downloading stuff is pretty quick & a piece of piss for even a Luddite like me. Volkswagen fit converters to play through your system (so you're reet there). Plus, on snobbery value it's better to have the iconic mp3 player (well, I think so). TBH though I'd wait till you go through your next duty free shop for discount.

Traf
Get a Walkman. A C180 cassette will hold up to 60 songs.
Mike Hunt
just won an iPod shuffle through work. didn't think I'd like iTunes, but it's actually pretty good. alright, it's only 1 gig, but I just swap and change my music every week or so. Traf, you know full well that I can't play cassettes anymore since I loaned you my portable stereo, as you still have not returned it. For those of you that have never met Traf, that is actually him in the picture
Traf
Naughty. You know you're not allowed to post photos of people without their prior permission. It is me, but it is CWP's handbag I'm carrying.

Moderators Casino Posted August 22, 2007 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2007 looked long and hard, decided i'd never use it, either creative/apple for video, and got a music only instead
