alibob Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 That would be good... but it'd be that little bit sweeter if it was our first away win in 9 months or whatever it is, that was the final nail in the XL coffin!
Underpants Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 (edited) That would be good... but it'd be that little bit sweeter if it was our first away win in 9 months or whatever it is, that was the final nail in the XL coffin! Agreed. I've done millions and millions of grounds watching the Wanderers but for some reason St James' Park is not on my list. If he's still in the job then I would be making my first visit up there for the potential, never to be repeated offer, of taking the almighty piss. Edited January 6, 2008 by Underpants
globaldiver Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I hope it is a draw,so that Allardyce will have to pick his first team in an FA Cup replay a few days before he plays us. nice, but still would like to see his pain in defeat today. Pity he's not talikng to the beeb. How would you be able to tell if Newcastle were playing a weakened team?
stevieb Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 faustino asprilla left yonks ago! Thought you be on the ball with that one george! Sounded loud as fook at kick off! no idea what they were singing, could be the geordies like pet or the potters duck. Cant understand either of em!
tylswhite Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Listening to the Stoke crowd goin wild reminds me of the days when we used to be giantkillers, miss them matches.
Whizz Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 lets be honest here, allardyce dragged us up and since he has left we are drifting back to a small club with a small time attitude. I have no sympathy with allardyce, he knew the script with the geordies thinking they are a big club but at the same time I still think he is a wanderers legend.
peebles Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Dear me Haven't the greatest fans in the world not taken up all their tickets?

Was not watching at the start but I know the Stoke fans sing Delila. I went to the old Stoke ground and it sounded really impressive when all the fans in the Bootham end, I think it was called, sang that. We replied with "slag, slag, slag Delila"
globaldiver Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Dear me Haven't the greatest fans in the world not taken up all their tickets? part timers
lancaster _white Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 Dear me Haven't the greatest fans in the world not taken up all their tickets? peebles Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Fat Sam looks like a very relieved man. As George said earlier, they now have to play a replay a few days before our game.
Rembrandt Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 How about signing Ricardo Fuller to replace Anelka ?
Guest The Special One Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Fat Sam looks like a very relieved man. As George said earlier, they now have to play a replay a few days before our game. wouldn't be ironic if stoke beat them then they have to beat us to save his job and we thrash them
