Cant understand the logic behind staying near the ground TBH.

 

After the game you don't go to your hotel do you?

 

Each to their own I suppose. Anyway a few are in the Praga I believe.

 

We'll not close I just mean so we can walk there and walk back + dont really want to be missioning about after the game when im pissed. Probably get twatted or sumet

some of the lads thought they were the dogs for booking in this hotel

across the road from the ground.

 

i know I'll have the last laff in Madrid

who are they to mess with a euro veteran

I know those lads who booked hotels near to the ground in Munich soon regretted their decision.

 

I am with JJ on this one, why would you want to stay anywhere other than in the centre? You will be drinking there Wednesday night, Thursday during the day and Thursday night after the game - whereas a hotel near the ground serves what purpose? Maybe you want to nip to your room for a quick change before walking to the game?

 

Everyone to their own though.

It's only about five stops from the centre of Madrid on the Metro! The ground itself is in a pretty ugly area (the ring road runs right under the main stand!) You're better off in the centre where you can walk to all the bars etc.
