who's to blame for whats happened recently.

the fans- for not turning up in numbers to support the team

eddie davies-for not pumping some money into the club

phil gartside-for appointing 2 poor managers, and countless other things

allardyce-for not having the heart when he got fucked off from england

lee-for shit signings

megson-for just being shit.

there's countless other things you could throw at everybody on there.

i personally blame it fat phil-all he's interesed in is his place on the f.a. board and his image within the game and also for appointing to poor managers with equally poor excuses why he did,if you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

see this is what baffles me when people accuse fat phil of this, surely if this was his main interest then BWFC staying as a premier league club and in europe would be a priority. So that argument just doesn't wash for me i just think he's made 2 bad appointments.

there's the premier league board and the f.a. board with which he is regarded quite highly,i didn't mention the premier board as i don't think we'll be there next year.

Correct but he wouldn't have had to make those appointments if it wasn't for FSA fookin off, so ultimately the blame lands with Big Sam.

I accept total responsibility. Just like at home, if anything goes wrong, it's my fault. I am truly sorry.

But his place on the FA board is surely jepordised by BWFC becmming shoite as he's one of the Premier Leagues representatives on the board

Gartside for me.

Sammy Lee's appointment was never going to work in a million years.

Megsons appointment was pure baffling (I'm clearly not a football person).

The sale of Anelka was probably the icing on the cake.

We have had countless opportunitys to change the path we were going down and made the wrong choice at every junction, I trace it back to the day Phil Brown left the club because Gartside told him he would never be manager, we then got rid of Okocha and Ngotty, to bring in the Anelka this changed the headset of the players and from then on team spirit has wained, Allardyce then asked for money to strengthen an ailing team, this was denied again by Gartside or Davies and really that was the end of Allardyces reign, we then compound the loss of Allardyce by appointing a manager with no experience or presence who then tries to change it all overnight, result, the players mutiny, at this stage Gartside knew that player power was running the show, but he could not back Lee because he knew he was the wrong man for the job, Lee leaves and Gartside approaches a manager with most of the qualities that go down well with the bolton public and bolton teams that man was Steve Bruce, Brum quoted 3 million to talk to Bruce who would have jumped at the chance to join Bolton, the 3 million was baulked at by Gartside and we then go for the cheap option of Megson, the rest as they say is history.

Gartside for giving the gig to Lee in the summer.

We surely were in with a chance of getting someone at least ok, given the UEFA Cup and our consistentcy in finishing in the top 8.

very easy to say ALL that in hindsight?

even you were optimistic when Lee took over

am not sure what the departure of Brown has to do with anything though

Okocha and NGotty were not up to it anymore

Gartside was backed into a corner with Lee as he (allegedly) gave Lee his word that Lee would manage the club if and when FSA left. That was one of the main carrots to drag Lee away from the FA.

Gartside to be fair, made a brave decision to sack Lee - he went up in the world for me on that decision.

That though, was all lost in the appointment of Megson and the manner in which it was done. To use Megson's former agent/"friend" in the recruitment process was mind numbingly bias in the recruitment process - that even 'Sour'ness saw through.

Its a toss up between Nicky Hunt and El Hadji Diouf

Based on performances in the last two games, it has to be Diouf then

I was optimistic when Lee took over as I thought we needed a change of style, regarding JJ an Ngotty maye they were past it, but we never replaced that quality, and I think Anelka although well behaved on the surface upset the status quo with his insistance of wanting a big move, In Phil Brown we had the right man to take us forward after Allardyce, why Gartside said he would never be a Manager of BWFC I do not know.

Becuase him and his agent are not willing to take brown (excuse the pun) envolopes

I voted Gartside

Would have been difficult to have replaced Allardyce with worse than Lee.

Lee was that garbage, Gartside had to sack him after 11 league games but even that was too long.

Instead of accepting that you get what you pay for and hire a Premier League manager, took a gamble on Championship standard Meggo.

Allowed Anelka to go,when Meggo had proven that he was capable of winning home games with Anelka playing.

i dont believe any indivdual person is to blame, its a combination of many things, chairman, managers past and present, players and fans...
