June 15, 200818 yr Holy shit, could be now. As per my edited comment before: There was bugger all on tonight so I gave up my Euro 2008 boycott tonight! I'm bloody glad about that now.
June 15, 200818 yr Author It's been a good tournament so far, apart from France v Romania. There has been some great football played by some teams and some great games too. I have only miss 2 games, and have really enjoyed it up to now. A win for the swiss tonight, too little too late but gave there fans something to cheer.
June 15, 200818 yr Delighted with the result tonight, bring on the croats! (turkey are my sweepstake)
June 15, 200818 yr Watched the Portugal game but caught the last 5 of the Czech game. Cech will have to take a lot of the blame in all honesty. But saying that, no chance with the winner, superb goal.
June 16, 200817 yr Didn't want the Turks through but fair play to them for coming back like that. Would have been funny if that Czech header had gone in just before their keeper got sent off.

Question - if they had equalised and it went to penalties, would the same geezer have had to stay in goal for the pens or could they use someone else eg a sod-off big defender. Indeed in all penalty shoot-outs do you actually have to use your regular keeper? eg if he got injured trying to save the first can you put someone else in for the subsequent ones??
