What reaction will he recieve nxt week?

i got mixed emotions on this while he was never the superstar some folk like to believe he was he did a job for us. The thing is he wanted bigger things and settled for Sunderland which is the bit that hurt. i wont be one of the boo boys on saturday and as long as acknoledges us (the Bolton Fans) he can fall into the gone and forgotten catogory for me. not the Stubbs/Ricketts catogory of gone and never forgiven.

i know im scrapeing the barrel on a topic starter but let me off im at work and there isnt enough movement on the board to keep me amused till 5

I'm 39, I don't do booing. The man loves all that in a Giant Haystacks stylee hanyhoo, so it's not a good idea even for the mongtards who do.

He's also a simpleton and so to be fair, he might've thought Sunderland was a better place, I mean it is on the coast so it might've had beaches! :pardon:

I bet he'd look beltin laid on a sunbed with his hawaiian shorts on and cap at a jaunty angle supping a margharita!

He'll get one round of applause from me as he warms up, nowt else. Met Dioufy several times and he's a decent bloke, he would always have a chat or pose for a photo with the kids. When his head was right he was awesome for us.

However he made no secret that he wanted to go to a bigger club and ended up going to Sunderland!!

I hope for nothing, complete and utter apathy towards him. fcuk him, he was treated very well here, and he chose to leave and is now at a poorer side in which he rarely features.

No doubt if they go one-nil up the chants will start for Diouf.

The bloke always gave 100% for us so I don't think I will be booing, the only sad part is that he thinks the Mackem's are bigger than us, think we will prove him wrong on saturday when we beat them and they hopefully go down. Hope he come's over to us and give's us a clap.

Weve missed the lad more than Anelka. ?2.5m was a fookin joke.

I agree I think we do miss him, he always seemed to give us an outlet which we seem to be missing at the moment, he had a good ability of holding up the ball and letting our midfield get forward. If he could had chipped in with a few more goals he could have been a legend for the super whites.

always gave 100%

did he fcuk

announcing you want out in the middle of a relegation scrap is not giving 100%

and, fact is he didn't get the 'few more goals'

he was one of our better player but he is a wasted talent

Just watched him playing for Sun'lun'. Either he's got a few layers of clothing on or he's put a few pounds on up int' North East.

Put a few pounds on cos he is a bench warmer these days. He said Sunderland had better players than us. Have they fcuk. The only players I would take from them are Jones and Richardson. The rest are shite. Now I have said that they will probably go and beat us next week. Hope not though. They were shite today and so were west Ham. Apart from the 4 big clubs we are no worse than any team in this league.

gonna obviously have a blinder against us, dont boo him as it will spur him on.

Fortunately I've been brought up not to applaud, respect or like people like Diouf. Scumbag.

So for example you didn't "applaud" when he scored the winner at Newcastle a few seasons back?

Clown by name . . .

Dioufy was THE most aproachble player ever to wear the white shirt! A photo? An autograph? No problem. The fact you can call him a scumbag is proof that the only things you see of him is in the tabloids, who love a hate figure. OK, he spat at someone. It was explained as a difference of culture. I'm happy to go with that explanation.

has this upbringing only just come about since he left the club? Just asking.
