globaldiver Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Manchester City want to sell at least six players, with defender Tal Ben-Haim poised to return to his former club Bolton. (The Times)
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted January 1, 2009 Site Supporter Posted January 1, 2009 I'd be very suprised
ph31 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 would be great to have him back, but he must have been on 30k at chelsea and more at city. Doubt we'll be offering him anymore than the contract he turned down when he f*ucked off to line his pockets on the bench at stanford bridge.

Carn't see it myself but its a thumbs up from me over here if it is possible.
no balls Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 when he f*ucked off to line his pockets on the bench at stanford bridge. Which he quietly did, as we all would, with no disrespectful comments about Bolton or Billy Bigtime remark, as far as I am aware. Not sure why idiots booed him here.

Ani Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 he has had his big pay day. sure he could cope on just ?20k per week at bolton. he is just what we need.
Theboybell Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 he has had his big pay day. sure he could cope on just ?20k per week at bolton. he is just what we need. not a bad cover for right back if we offload Hunt as well as figureing as a partner for Cahill.
passmosster Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Here we go againg, this time I am going to try and win. Will always remember Ben Haim's first away performance that I saw against Ipswich in the FA Cup, absolutely spot on covering of space to block out Darren Bent. I thought "This lad has a football brain". I would be delighted to see him back.
no balls Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Jew really think it'll happen? Yid like to think so.

Not sure why idiots booed him here. Aye, didn't exactly do a Stubbs did he? Think he'd be able to contribute especially if he found the form that he had at times with us.
glennboltw Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Shiitu? O'Brian? or Tal?....... I would have him any day!
THunter Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Which he quietly did, as we all would, with no disrespectful comments about Bolton or Billy Bigtime remark, as far as I am aware. Not sure why idiots booed him here.At a rough guess because they're idiots.
exiledwhite2 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 At a rough guess because they're idiots. Didn't he turn some dog sh?t performances in towards the end of his contract?
Arnold Jackson Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Shiitu? O'Brian? or Tal?....... I would have him any day! I'd have Tal back yes... but never heard of the other 2 ???
HR Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Yid like to think so. the money City have we'd probably get him for a snip.
Theboybell Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 the money City have we'd probably get him for a snip. Carn't find it on the Mail website have you got the link?
Traf Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Carn't find it on the Mail website have you got the link? It's in the Times, I think. See the first post in the thread.
Arnold Jackson Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Carn't find it on the Mail website have you got the link? Lots about who the Massives are buying before the bit about tbh tbh Link To Story
Moderators Zico Posted January 1, 2009 Moderators Posted January 1, 2009 if tal is available i can see blackburn making a bid
Traf Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 if tal is available i can see blackburn making a bid Or he'll be used as the makeweight in a deal for Santa Cruz.
TravellingWanderer Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 City and Chelsea fans don't rate him and not sure if Sam will take him to Blackburn as he didn't agree with all the support staff that Allardyce tried to use on the players, not the medical side but all the psychological stuff. I imagine that Megson will also go back in for Gelson Fernandes as a deal was virtually agreed before City were taken over.
THunter Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Didn't he turn some dog sh?t performances in towards the end of his contract? There were also a couple of man of the match performances in there. Let's face it there weren't many good performances from anyone from Jan 2007 until the end of the season.
