jonathan Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Maybe we should have thought about making a move for him? Apparently he's close to agreeing a move to Stoke. He's only 30 and has plenty of Prem experience and played for England. Already scored 12 goals this season despite being injured for a while. Seems likr a Megson type signing as well
Site Supporter MickyD Posted January 9, 2009 Site Supporter Posted January 9, 2009 Exactly what is a Megson Type Signing?
Moderators Casino Posted January 9, 2009 Moderators Posted January 9, 2009 why sign davies when you've got davies?
jonathan Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Exactly what is a Megson Type Signing? english, hard working and honest for a start off plus he said he wanted players ready made for the prem which he is
Site Supporter MickyD Posted January 9, 2009 Site Supporter Posted January 9, 2009 I've yet to see an honest footballer. If they were honest they'd turn round and admit they earn way too much compared with people who do things which are important in life.

Sweep Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 english, hard working and honest for a start off I always wonder what managers mean when they say "He's a honest sort of player" - Harry Redknapp seems to say it a lot about his players. For "honest", I usually read "crap" - I basically think it means the player runs around a lot and doesn't achieve much
bwfc6ix Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Rather go for Boyd. beattie is not prem standard.
Bobcat Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 why sign davies when you've got davies? That is probably the best thing you have posted in close on 27 months.
Sweep Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Rather go for Boyd. beattie is not prem standard. I'm not sure Boyd is either to be honest
Moderators Zico Posted January 10, 2009 Moderators Posted January 10, 2009 That is probably the best thing you have posted in close on 27 months. why, what happened 27 months ago?
Tombwfc Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Aye, Beattie scored an absolute shedload for Southampton in the Prem. So if he's not good enough, i don't know how Boyd is.

Traf Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 why, what happened 27 months ago? Bobcat stopped shagging Cassie's wife.
