Who Said This?

"With it (the squad) being so small suggests its ideal for a NEW manager to come in and rejuvenate it and bring in players of substance.

For me the loanees have had no chance to show us what they can do!! Not long ago most on here thought Makukula was not fit for the Prem!! Now he scored an hatrick midweek people are wanting him included in the starting XI this weekend!! This is purely out of frustration of our Pricey Forward who isn't bulging the ole onion bag!! Results Matter in the Premiership regardless of how Beautiful you play it. Everton showed most clubs that you can frustrate the top four but need the personal in the squad for that!!

I hope a new Manager does come in but I think most will agree on here that Premiership survival is the most important thing at the moment regardless of IF Megson goes now. But ought to leave our club when survival is certain. If indeed Gartside & Davies want to move our club forward next season its plain to see Megson isn't the man!! He has been given the most Money to turn our club around and to me has failed to move our club forward with this said money and looking at the table it is possible we will finish the season in the same position as last season IF he keeps this defensive aproach to each game!!

COME ON YOU WHITES"

I don't see how a football club, which is a fairly unique kind of business, compares to how people perform at work. Maybe it's just me.

Using the same kind of twisted logic, anyone who isn't MD of Microsoft is in effect a failure.

I'd have to say that I've under achieved massively and it has been a great disappointment to my family.

It has left me feeling socially and mentally inadequate and the only way i can make myself feel better is by posting on internet forums where I can pretend to be a better person than I really am.

such as 'working for an international Corporate Bank based in London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne and Madrid' per chance?

well lets put it this way I cannot over achieve as 100% is the maximum anyone or anything can give. therefore I am on a level playing field as I strive to give 100% and would not be were I am now if I didn't give my best MOST of the time. Plus the training I received early on in my career and the ongoing training I receive now is about maximising my strength to push my goals, through putting my training into live work, and create more opprotunities for myself - but as I say how can anything or anyone give more than 100%.

Over-achieve is completely non-existant in real life and only those who under-perform believe in it. Isn't that actually called pessimism!!

Seems to me that there are a few on here that are pessimistic about the football and thus find excuses as to why we our in our current position and as such use the term that we over-achieved, rather than saying that our players were fantastically managed, fanstically trained and most of all were optimistic about the games they played.

I think you'll find that the top players regularly give 110% effort.

You are a shirker.

Burnden Roar?

Burnden Roar?

That was my initial suspicion. I always feel a bit embarrassed by people who revert to informing people on a football site how successful they are. Thank the lord for the ignore button.

Please explain 100% when physically speaking the MAXIMUM anything and anyone can give is 100%

The true meaning being:

100% means mathematically the entirety or all of something.

so again how can anyone or anything give 100% when all is being done already?

Well, I've heard lots of people claim to have 100% effort in.

Are you saying they're lying?

Burnden Roar?

200% is the maximum possible.

100% of what you know you can do + 100% of that you do not know is possible.

Well, I've heard lots of people claim to have 100% effort in.

ITS YOU WHO SAID THAT not me!!!

For all I know they could be giving 100% effort and attainment.

I know I strive to give 100% everyday at work and succeed as much as possible - and that is what I believe in.

well at least I explain my resaoning unlike some on here who seem to give verbal abuse, do not back it up and worst of all seem to habitually have a monotone point of view of the whites (very depressing by some on here!!!). Seems to me some on here do not know how to think individually and act like sheep be agreeing with what their leader/cohorts say no matter what.

Shame - and yet I'm called boring, at least I have differing points of view and challenge viewpoints - now that is debating not just saying yes, yes and yes! :pardon:

Dutch,

Did you know that edam is made backwards?

Oh dear........

Did you know that Traf are the 1st 4 letters of Trafford Park (where United play!) - are you a red in disguise, are you a red in disguise?

Anyone else hear a clock ticking? Van Hire could start an argument in a phone box.

There's a conspiracy afoot here. Too many numpties all at one time? I have a suspicion 3 or 4 Rivals are infiltrating?
