BBC cocked up here as well

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...em/8000563.stm:

Bolton manager Gary Megson will assess the fitness of defenders Ricardo Gardner and Danny Shittu before naming his starting line-up.

Gardner limped off against Portsmouth with a hamstring injury and Shittu missed the trip to Fratton Park with a calf strain.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is winning his battle to be fit for the match after suffering a calf strain.

Otherwise, Villa are unchanged as they look for a first win in 11 matches.

Portsmouth (from): Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Shittu, Samuel, Taylor, Muamba, McCann, Gardner, Elmander, Basham, K Davies, Al Habsi, Hunt, Smolarek, Puygrenier, Cohen, A O'Brien.

Aston Villa (from): Friedel, L. Young, Cuellar, Davies, Shorey, Milner, Petrov, Barry, A. Young, Heskey, Carew, Agbonlahor, Guzan, Delfouneso, Gardner, Sidwell, Salifou, Knight, Reo-Coker.

All against it from what I could gather.. who'd of expected anything else?

I am not a big fan of the 2 tier Premiership plan as, for me, it just means that the Championship is being renamed Premier 2, and the tv money and glory will go to Premier 1, as it does now - in other words reformation for no reason whatsoever and keeping the prestige with the top 18 clubs, unfortunately.

If it had been any other manager saying what Sam did, would he have been ridiculed as much as Sam, on here?

Or is it just a chance to have another go at our most successful manager in the last 50 years (under the leadership of Gartside)

Plucking arguments out of the air there Dutch.

Simply discussing BBC's mistake of quote Sam Allardyce the Bolton Wanderers manager.

not quite as there was post with what Sam said, which I commented about and then posts further down completely calling Sam, unfortunately.

With regards to BBC - they have always been funny with regards to us. They hate showing us on Motd, they have never been favourable with comments they make about, so to them make such stupid mistakes about the club, games, previous managers, is no surprise!
