May 17, 200917 yr Im not questioning whether you think he is shit or not, I dont believe he has been too good either yet. To say he is worse than Gerald Cid is utter utter shit and thats what puts you into the numbskull bracket. Never said he was worse. I said I put him in the same bracket, i.e can't pass the ball, falls over the ball, can't shoot, wonders what a ball is, pinches himself every month when he see's his ?100,000+ pay check, he does try bless him but he just ain't a footballer and at ?5m price tag I expect him to be at least average. A couple of brum fans take the piss everyday in work 'cause they can't believe they got ?5m off us for him.

Theres the root of your problem, you getting a bit of stick so your over exaggerating your opinion of him. He has had a poor season, but he has shown some good signs and may improve in time which ranks him way above the Gerald Cid bracket.
May 17, 200917 yr Here is a newspaper article from january 2008. Some interesting stuff about his personal life. "It is a far cry from his days growing up in a flat in Kinshasa, living through a five-year civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that claimed 4.7million lives. The youngster, one of four siblings, tried to live a normal life when life was anything but normal. 'It was very, very tough,' he recalls. 'I saw the war. I saw people die. I grew up with it. It was scary. 'I didn't live far from the gunshots and the sound of them going off. It was difficult to get used to, especially hearing guns at night. It did have an effect on me. 'It stopped us going out to play football because we were scared we would get killed. " Boy who fled snipers

Bit unfair on davies considering he was playing left midfield. he's wasted on the left side but needs must with a small squad. seemed a little odd to play taylor on the right and davies on the left.

Indeed, if Davies had to play out wide (not a great idea IMO), why not put him on the right, as he clearly couldn't find good postions on the left. Taylor can do either. Why not switch them around?

Your knocking M. Davies for not having a good game the lad was playing left midfield for fuck sake?
May 17, 200917 yr so what? elmander is expected to be 9 foot tall and muamba is expected to be viera so why shouldn't davies be expected to be able to play midfield?
May 17, 200917 yr so what? elmander is expected to be 9 foot tall and muamba is expected to be viera so why shouldn't davies be expected to be able to play midfield? Elmander would still be shit at 9ft tall. Muamba did have a poor game yesterday. But to slag a central midfielder off who was played on the left when we had a left sided player on the right is abit low.
May 17, 200917 yr mark davies, wasnt shit. what he did was neat and tidy as usual. he just did nowhere near enough of it. he must get involved more.
May 17, 200917 yr mark davies, wasnt shit. what he did was neat and tidy as usual. he just did nowhere near enough of it. he must get involved more. Was a bit strange playing Taylor wide right. Can understand when Ricardo's playing. Matty seemed to spend most of the 1st half rowing with fans in ESL.

But to slag a central midfielder off who was played on the left when we had a left sided player on the right is abit low. i was trying to make a point. davies (M) is a cracking little player, bags of potential, but he does not always play well, yesterday out of position, in other games no such excuse. because he cost so little and muamba so much people do not get on his back, this makes it more likely he will develop into a better player. elmander and muamba look like they cost a lot but that is nt their fault, getting behind them will give us a chance to see their real potential.

May 17, 200917 yr Was a bit strange playing Taylor wide right. Can understand when Ricardo's playing. i take very little notice of the other lot but id guess its because we considered they had a greater threat on their left? steinnson looks twice the player when hes not 'protected' by davies but by taylor
May 17, 200917 yr Was a bit strange playing Taylor wide right. Can understand when Ricardo's playing. Matty seemed to spend most of the 1st half rowing with fans in ESL. neither are really wingers so playing them on the 'wrong' side allows them to come inside and influence the game, which they didnt really do, hence the system changed in the 2nd half i believe. the fans who moaned when taylor decided to actually keep possession and play a simple ball, (albeit backwards) rather than dump it down the line, are morons.
May 17, 200917 yr he can shoot he scored a 25 yarder at doncaster pre-saeson so he can do it maybe the groans accompanying his first few wayward ones have got to a young kid? jimmy once scored a screamer at burnden park, cant remember who we played tho!!
May 18, 200917 yr He's struggling in this league and no point falling out over him. Sign a couple of decent midfielders he wont get in the team anyway. He'd be better learning the game in the reserves, playing against all the talented youngsters from other teams. We,ll find out how good he is then. or England u21
May 18, 200917 yr Muamba was int Trafford Centre yesterday wearing a pink jumper... Just thought ide bring that to everybody's attention.
May 25, 200917 yr As BN said today; "otherwise excellent" against City. A summer of shooting practice and tablets for vertigo and he'll be great in 2009/10
May 25, 200917 yr I got my match ticket yesterday from Muamba's brother(who also can't play football) via a City fan who is a neighbour of his. I was in the Home End. That is my uninteresting fact of the day. thank you
