Sweep
3 weeks to go. three weeks is ages, there will be a mass round of panic buys/loans come the last week of August (from everybody) - I would expect us to at least bring in a striker that we've never heard of, on loan, at 23:55 on 31st August

Rembrandt
In other words, he wouldn't pass a medical. That would depend what you told the medical guy a 'pass' level was. Players recover from cruciate damage, as we know from Ricky. Bit of a risk when you're spending ?3m+ though.
BdubFC
Bolton look set to make the first move to sign Israel international striker Elyaniv Barda to the Premier League. The 27-year-old has been followed by Gary Megson since January, but increased interest from some of Wanderers' rivals and the manager's need for fresh blood up front, looks set to boost the chances of a deal happening in the next ten days. Barda was priced out of a move from Belgium in January when his club Racing Genk slapped a ?3.5million valuation on his head. anyone heard of this guy

waffer cup 07
Being reported in Daily Mire possible swap with Pompey, they get Shittu and Mc Cann, we get Nugent. if it were true could be worth a punt, rather than be left with no cover striker. LeggyMountbatten
Skysports are saying we are close to signing Achille Emana from Betis for ?7 milllion. Never heard of the guy but he scrored 11 goals from midfield in La Liga which isn't too shabby. It seems he used to play at Toulouse with Elmander. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_5504796,00.html
