onlyoneawalker Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Just for you Bolty If you could resign one ex wanderer now (regardless of age, price etc) who would it be and why? Despite my moniker I'd go for Eidur - could score a few, retain possesion and unlock defences from in and around the box.
M G WHITES Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Super John, just because we play them bastards this season
tyldesley_white Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Frank for me, Nat was before my time .... just
TroySwoosh Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 So good they named him twice!!........ before Sam stifled him, we need entertaining again
Happy Wanderer Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Anelka the guy is world class and yes we need someone to put the ball in the onion bag.
passmosster Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Anelka the guy is world class and yes we need someone to put the ball in the onion bag. Per Frandsen. Just remember his link with Johansen. If he could do the same for Obadeyi, we would be world beaters. Saw him at Swindon last night. He is a natural on the wing, pace, good crosser of the ball. Can't really understand why he was not on the bench on Saturday or taken to Holland on the pre-season. Sorry, he is a previous manager's player.
HomerJay Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 okocha, djorkaeff and and anelka are the best attacking players ive ever seen in a white shirt, but i would have loved to see fernando hierro play a holding role, in his prime, in our midfield.
Didledee Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 The Best Ever Player To Play For The Whites - Jay Jay Okocha !
Russell Sprout Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 okocha, djorkaeff and and anelka are the best attacking players ive ever seen in a white shirt, but i would have loved to see fernando hierro play a holding role, in his prime, in our midfield. Freddy Hill and Wyn Davies.
freds dad Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Freddy Hill and Wyn Davies. Willie Morgan .................................................................. on the wing

Sorry, he is a previous manager's player. Decent post, ruined by an unnecessary and bullshitty last line. For me at the moment, I'd normally want Andy Walker back but it's Sasa Curcic: we're crying out for some raw talent in an attacking midfield role.

petebw Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Definitely Hierro in his prime. He was one of the best players ever imo, not just for bolton
tkonion Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Limiting my choice to players i've actually seen play for the Whites it would have to be Yuri. Skill, composure and an eye for goal. One of the most effective players i've ever seen play for any team, and he was supposed to be past it when he signed for us!
Traf Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Anelka Rolls Royce of footballers. Indeed, but there's nobody to make chances for him: hence my Sasa selection.
