TBH I think that always was the case, but now they don't tend to publish unless they have 'the knowledge', which is why I am more inclined to believe this. You won't see too many scoops, they are usually reporting retrospectively and this deal could be already done.

I think Petrov is using Bolton to get a move to Villa, his mate stillian is there and they are in Europe. I will be suprised if we get him.

If he was at a club and wanted 25k a week then he has the right to ask for another 5k - 240k a year for being a freebie, saving us the money having to pay a transfer fee.

Nah, thats the Hunt family on their way from Hull to Wolverhampton.

i dont see it as a big signing, i see it as sam allardyce signing. (ie player at end of career with doubts over attitude and fitness)

Very, very impressed with this signing.

 

Bollocks to this "he doesn't track back, he's soft" shite.

 

He is a very talented attacking player that will add pace and balance out on the left.

 

Whether other clubs turned him down before he chose us I don't care, I'm sure he could have gone abroad if he would have wanted to but Coyle has managed to persuade him to come to us.
