jayjayoghani
Bring back analogue! Been having problems with my digital tv reception. Picture heavily pixellated/discontinuous and sound pops, classic symptoms I believe ? worse on certain channels and at certain times of day so much that it?s unwatchable Live in a flat with a communal aerial in the loft. Think the time of year possibly a factor too. Anyway, no-one else has the problem so after trying a few things, manage to sort by using an old freeview box and using that rather than the inbuilt tv freeview (Samsung LCD). Picture is ok but now the sound disappears, this after initially being ok when you switch on. Any suggestions?

Although if there is noise on the aerial feed, a booster will amplify that as well.
Underpants
I think there's 6 digital channels occupying the same space that only one analogue channel took. Is it the same channels giving you grief? My expereince in this is that your signal is more than likely too strong and needs attenuating in some way. Cheap and cheerfull bang a drawing pin through your cable - job done! jayjayoghani
Cheers for your advice. Ended up buying a new Freeview box (originally to replace the one I'd nicked off my Nan) Used that, works fine now.
