Was lucky enough to meet Nat and he was a proper gent, taking his England caps for kids to wear at the Junior Whites. His house was like a museum to his career.

RIP

Can't believe that the club's announcement has a Tesco advert on it.

Didn't see Nat play but always proud that my team had such a legend.

Remember George Oghani fluffing a header & old timer behind me saying (in Lancashire dialect) "eeh if that'd been Nat 'ed ave broke back of t'net".

RIP Nat

As a kid my mum worked for his wife, even in his hey day he would all her stag and family Xmas and birthday presents, and he always had time for the fans

A true one off legend and I am proud to have known him as a player and friend.

RIP Nat x x
