?Just seen this. Heartbroken.

I'm not old enough to have seen Nat play but I did have the pleasure of meeting him. He was a true gentleman who seemed to have more than enough time for everyone.

You will be missed but never forgotten.

RIP. I was fortunate enough to see the great man play.

LEGEND

Idolised him as a kid, used to dribble stones up and down our back lane pretending I was him.

RIP Nat. Boltons greatest son and the greatest footballer never to receive a knighthood.

There will never be another.

R.I.P Sir Nat - a true bolton legend

i had the pleasure to meet nat on a few occasions over the years - had a pint with him a few times , he always had time for a chat, a true gentleman

Not ashamed to say I cried when I found out. Had the pleasure of meeting him briefly and its the only time I've been awestruck. Hopefully the club will come up with a fitting tribute.

RIP Nat. A legend in the truest sense of the word.

Was lucky enough to meet Nat and he was a proper gent, taking his England caps for kids to wear at the Junior Whites. His house was like a museum to his career.

RIP

Can't believe that the club's announcement has a Tesco advert on it.

RIP Nat. Not much else to say. Fondest memory was when he was on ITV explaining Blackpool's Sherpa Van Northern Final penalty miss that virtually hit the Normid.

RIP Nat Lofthouse 'One Club' Man
