Coyle

i could list the ones who won't hear a word against him who will be all over this like a rash....

but i don't care

bar a month of this season, the football has been dire

in that month, the attacking play was top notch

his tactics aren't working and he doesn't appear to have a clue what to do

maybe when megson has told you day in day out that you're shite, a bloke sticking his arm around your shoulder is just what the doctor ordered

but, there comes a point where telling 'em they're great isn't enough

i don't think the players are shit, but they're playing shit

this is when he earns his corn

bumming up the fans telling us how good we are?

yeah, its nice to hear but it doesn't win games

today was shite

absolute fcuking shite

Coyle has been here just over 12months, in that time he has pulled us away from a relegation battle, last season I think Megson would have taken us down.   We now have a manager who engages and ack

It's shite to watch and certainly no better than under megson.

The players are still getting the same basic things wrong that they were then, but there isn't an un-charismatic ginner to take the flak anymore.

Spirit of Burnden will be vexed with you.

Coyle was a breath of fresh air to the club, but we'll find out how good he is over the next month.

A good few players need a kick up the arse, skd included. Fully confident in Coyle however and believe he will get us through this bad patch.

Only worry is he need a couple of additions to the squad, at least and can't see where there coming from!

casino has finally seen the light.

this post was originally started at sunderland last march......

442 is not working , worryingly he doesnt seem have another plan .

But you did

Jussi kept a clean sheet today, pulled off a few good saves too. Don't get me wrong had a few dodgy games this season but going off todays performance he did allright imo.

We've lost that loving feeling that's for sure.

We'll be reet tho'.

No relegation dog fight for us this year.

It'd be nice to have a cup-run, and twonk a top-four too.

But you did

It's been a long day

Twonking top 4 clubs isn't something normally associated with BWFC. But I like your optimism.

Rabbits and headlights spring to mind.

Dunno why but the team shit themselves for some reason. Need some psychologist at the club

I'd wait til after Wednesday before saying that

Enthusiasm is temporary.....class is permanent...thats what's got us to 30 point's

I think our biggest problem is so many players who were doing the business have hit a run of bad form at the same time, not to mention the fact that they all look fucked.

Having a small squad does not help us - a couple of signings to lift the confidence and gloom could go a long way but if I was Eddie Davies I'd be wondering if it was worth it. We're "safe" (you'd hope) so why fetch in someone we might not want for the long term just to shut up a few whining fans?

Robinson and knight not good enough.

Did you see petrov, davies, elmander and ricketts yesterday? The 4 of them were and have been fking wank for ages and although not a robbo fan cant see why so many still kicking off on him, he done newt wrong for a while. Taylors effort is treble Petrovs but the odd wonder goal seems to pacify a lot on here, i just dont get it

But there's no rule to say that January signings are long term or even permanent. A couple of decent players on short contracts would help out. Particularly by saying to existing players that a place in the team isn't a certainty.

Tend to disagree. if we lose to wolves Wednesday and everton win; were well involved again. Wolves will be fired up for this and will battle for everything. im not sure we are up to it at the moment. Yesterday was a chance (a good chance) to get this poor form out of the system. We didn't take it and now the pressure really is on Wednesday. Could be a seaon defining game.

Mick McCarthy won't have to work too hard to convince his team that they could come up here and win.

I thought ricketts played well yesterday.

Robbo's lack of ability is cancelled out by his drive and determination, which makes him good enough for me.

When playing well the team is plenty good enough, but it seems the whole team has a collective confidence that at the moment is rock bottom and its not helped by Tue fact they're all physically fooked.

Ricketts is a terrible defender. He got turned by dieme more times than I car to remember.

I thought ricketts played well yesterday.

everything from Wigan came down their left yesterday in the first half

Taylor and Ricketts were not doing much to stop this

Ricketts was left for dead so many times in that 1st half that we could have nipped on, dug a hole, popped him in, and it wouldn't have made any difference to the game. If he was better 2nd half, it's only because he couldn't have been worse.

Robbo does the best he can & adds a bit more effort for good measure. Pity the rest don't follow that example.

Taylor looked fooked by the hour mark, if not sooner. Made me wonder what the fitness training is. Mind you, the woeful repetitive corners, throw-ins & free kicks made me wonder what the football training is too.

i think training is what most of this comes down to

i hear set peices etc have taken a back seat to one touch five a side in training

the players certainly don't seem to be able to last a match like we used to under fat sam, who had fitness pretty much nailed
