How the fuckery a player (if there was one) stood slightly offside could be deemed to be interfering at that moment is beyond me.

Absolutely . Even for back then it was an insane decision and he was level  (the laws hadnt been changed at that time) .

The next replay tho we had 4 goals disallowed , tho for one of them I was sure the keeper was dead.
