Johnnyrotten
Thanks for correction. Wierd coincidence. 1965: Man U 0 Leeds 0 (Hillsbrough), replay (Forest) 1-0 to Leeds (Bremner). 1970: Man U 0 Leeds 0 (Villa), replay at Burnden 1-0 to Leeds (Bremner). I cant find footage of the last one, would be interested to see it.

Yes Mike Walsh scored just as news at ten was starting and Moore took his team off the pitch, they came back and Moore was sent off.

Brian Kidd? He was in Utd’s team late 60’s. Not sure if he’d moved on by that game though. Willie Morgan’s a good shout but not sure about Gowling. Can’t think of another player unless it’s a really obscure one

Same. Sprake was still getting stick for chucking that one in at Anfield. He had been first choice though for several seasons before Harvey took over and probably never got the credit he deserved. He was supposed to be pretty handy with his fists too

I was on the embankment that day as a 12 year old went to the Leeds vs United 1970 replay as well hated United as a kid and those two defeats were great Atmosphere was brilliant
