When he arrived, half the team had come from the Conf, coming from Liverpool, Sheffield etc. You don't do that for fun. But it's a big boy league, clubs with 300 crowds can't compete. They are extremely lucky that Belper and Liversedge are going straight back down. Liversedge should have done better, they brought in some decent name players. Â Isn't Paul Stretford the owner at Rylands ?? Went a couple of years ago for lads game, the club was superb, proper sports bar, loads of Rooney stuff on the walls. They flew up the leagues once the cash was thrown about...was them that wanted Darr just before his unjury....he turned down a big chunk of money too!!
