A great 6-0 win for Colls in the quarter final of the Lancashire Shield against West Didsbury & Chorlton, been told every Colls mon played out of their skins to avenge last years defeat at the semi final stage by these

Went there a couple of years ago, mad place. Look to own a fuck load of the land, sports pub that looks like a cricket pavilion. Depends on budgets how they do.

Cleggy still hasn't bettered himself since leaving Colls, still in the same league

He probably regrets leaving and Colls probably wish he'd stayed.

If he was at Colls, it would be getting on 10 years in charge. I don't think you should do more than 5 myself.

Going to Ashton was a mistake imo, they are 2nd bottom of the attendance table (above Colls).

Defo more of a budget there, I don't know the figures. When he arrived, half the team had come from the Conf, coming from Liverpool, Sheffield etc. You don't do that for fun.

But it's a big boy league, clubs with 300 crowds can't compete.

Shields have won it this year now, surely.

Not sure about Colls, anyone in the bottom half could go, realistically. They are extremely lucky that Belper and Liversedge are going straight back down. Liversedge should have done better, they brought in some decent name players.

Great semi final win in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy v Bamber Bridge, gutted though because a lot of us (so committee) are in Portugal and will miss the final

Isn't Paul Stretford the owner at Rylands ??

Went a couple of years ago for lads game, the club was superb, proper sports bar, loads of Rooney stuff on the walls.

They flew up the leagues once the cash was thrown about...was them that wanted Darr just before his unjury....he turned down a big chunk of money too!!

Colls lost last night in Lancs Cup Final v Southport at Leyland on pens, could have gone either way in the 90 mins.

Good to catch up with @Carlos

With my Alan Nixon head on, I reckon it's the end of an era...

No pal, season finished last Sat, with 10 mins to go they were down, then Cusani hit a 40 yard volley which bounced in front (or just behind) of the dving keeper in to the net, it's on twitter.

Stayed up by one point. Nothing between 3rd bottom and just below play off positions.

That keeper went down like a cooling tower. 🤣
