February 27, 201115 yr Aye but I don't think the one at Woodley is a 3G one like at Cliftonville which was very good. It was almost like the real thing. Woodley is 3G Played on it many times

March 2, 201115 yr He's forgot!! No I haven't. Salford had a black lad whose name I can't remember on the wing. Towards the end of the game there was a mix up in the Salford defence. All of a sudden the black lad started laying into the Salford captain icluding kung fu kicks a la Cantona. To his credit the Salford captain just stood there and took it while the rest of the team dragged him off.The ref then sent the black lad off. I can only think that the Salford captain had made a racist remark. There's a video of it on You Tube somewhere. Somebody might be able to find it.

March 7, 201115 yr Good video that. When I lived in Merseyside, I used to go and watch Bootle occasionally. A lad who worked for me played full back for them. One year they played a pre season friendly against Bolton Wanderers reserves. Before the game the Bolton management asked the Bootle players to go in hard on the centre forward because they wanted to toughen him up and at the same time go easy on another player because he was returning after a long injury. All the Bootle players got given Bolton Wanderers ties.
March 8, 201115 yr Local derby tonight Chorley v Bamber Bridge. Apparently Brig don't fetch many though, especially with North End at home. Think I'll go. It's only Barcelona v Arsenal ont telly anyway.

March 9, 201115 yr Roll on Saturday Looking forward to it mate. I'm now being told The Commercial, right next to the station, is family friendly, serves reals ale & shows live football. May be worth popping in there to see if the games on. Then we could skip up the hill at half time & we'd hardly miss a kick?
