No 60's compilation would be complete without these guys

 

Recorded live anarl,which was fairly rare in front of the cameras back then ...........The Small Faces

 

You can see where Paul Weller got his influences from,virtually every Weller move and mannerism has been copied from the late great Steve Marriot

I was working round to the Small Faces mate. Excellent band.

 

I knew that Gibsons cover was 1974 but it was originally penned in 1966 by the Stones. As they were never a Mod band IMO, I couldn't bring myself to post their version, especially as Gibsons was far better.

 

Dusty was ace. That is just about my favourite track of hers.

 

Anyway, the Small Faces. Best Mod band ever.
