  • To be fair I can sort of see his point, I don't see that BWFC would be an especially interesting game for the home fans, unless of course Holden is playing, or if we happen to be the reighing FA Cup c

  • Maybe they should get PNE instead as they won the league plenty times. Houston Dynamo, founded in 2005. I've got socks older than them. There's only one team in Texas! JR knows the score.

Go on, we've not heard it this month.

Right then, c?nty boll0cks, next time you want someone to keep your seat warm at the Reebok, find some other f?cker :D ;)

I heard yesterday that this game is all but signed in ink.

If that is indeed true, how many of you are considering coming on over? As this will be a charity game, I'll be happy to provide up to 50 game tickets for your group - we'll give you a real Texas welcome.

I will be there, but then I'm only coming from the Tanglewood area

Tanglewood?

That's about the same distance from the Rob that Bolton is from Manchester isn't it?

Do you go to any Dynamo games?

If not - can I interest you in becoming a Season Ticket Holder?

There might be another Holden being trained by Dominic Kinnear (Geoff Cameron)

In on TW, get yourself a S/T. It would guarantee you a cup final ticket!

Grooming ? :D

Stu just retweeted a picture of today's MU program with his picture and story titled "American Idol." Trouble is, it says he played for the Houston DynamoS. Them's fighting words around here. Making "Dynamo" plural is a sign that people don't know what they're talking about.

By the way, I forgot to wish yall good luck today. We get the game on tv so I'll be watching before I head out to the Dynamo game.... it's opening day for us! Forever Orange!

Don't let Eguzki see that programme then. It will tip him over the edge. But then again he doesn't know what he's talking about either.

just spoke to the guy in our pub who is the one organizing the game, he just told me that they are trying to get Everton and Fulham to come over as they also have American players, and then they are going to have a tournament with all 4 teams competing for a trophy

I go 3 to 4 times a year, which really is not enough,I will try harder this year

First of all, let me say I feel bad for Stu and for Bolton. I hope this game is still on, it is still a tribute to Holden and he deserves the salute from Houston fans. We never gave him a proper fairwell. I posted a little more on the other Holden topic.

Now, I feel I need to mention something I heard during the Bolton game. The UK announcers mentioned that Coyle spotted Holden while watching the Dynamo/Galaxy playoff game on tv. Oops, there goes Stuie Story number two. Damn. And it's such a good story.

I'm sure all of Bolton heard the same thing and immediately questioned Brahmafutbol's story. How embarrassing. I went back and reread the NYTimes story and noticed it says only that Coyle was watching the game, not that he was in LA. That's what I get for jumping to conclusions. But we don't know for sure it didn't happen.

i'd believe you before the wankers who commentate on our games

Ahh, this would be such a tempting trip, if I could visit anywhere, it would be Texas! Dont know whther to take a punt on this or wait for the Cardinals to visit either the Cowboys or Texans.

A slippery slope. You'll be wearing cowboy boots, a ten gallon hat and a bootlace tie next. ;)

What's a bootlace? Do we wear those here? :D

no idea what a bbotlace tie is but no point quoting and then spelling differently.

Maybe you call them a bolo.

Oh, yea, a bolo. I'm wearing mine right now. :yahoo:

I must have fixed my spelling while you were quoting me, you were quick.

This has been tweeted and retweeted around Houston the past few minutes....

Due to Stuart Holden's injury, the Dynamo are backing out of negotiaions to bring Bolton to Houston for a charity match. #HoustonDynamo

Too bad if true, I like you guys.

whatever happens, stick around :)

i'd have thought he may be fit for a jog around by then, if they're talking 6 months out
