Guest bwfcdan Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Just assigned the season tickets we're using to my account ready for tomorrow Also had a look at sales for West Ham, limited seating everywhere in the ground? Weird seeing as it's over 2 week away, people buying half season tickets maybe..
SalfordOriginal Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Man City have no online sales either... Postal applications will not be accepted for the Semi Final and supporters cannot buy tickets online. http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Tickets-and-Travel/2011/March/~/media/Files/cup_faqs_v2.ashx We've never had it so good! Its because they will be going into a ballot rather than not having an online ticket facility
tylswhite Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Its because they will be going into a ballot rather than not having an online ticket facility Have the ballot and the people who are succesful buy online? Thats how they do it in englandfans anyway. I think the Munich mancs do the same too.
Guest Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I'm just getting 1 cos I've no mates. if you buy 2 you should attract at least one new mate
freds dad Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 According to the BEN you can go and queue up on Sunday to buy tickets. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/8925292.Wanderers_FA_Cup_semi_final_ticket_news/ This must be for people who are poor and don't have t'internet or live in certain parts of town where its not safe to a puter
matty2094 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Really regret refreshing the page now, Stuck with 'The Box Office is currently busy. You are waiting in a queue.'
MickyD Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Really regret refreshing the page now, Stuck with 'The Box Office is currently busy. You are waiting in a queue.' Done the same! Not good. That said, when it opened earlier there were only Brum and WHU tickets available.
Carlos Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 If you don't get your ticket by 9.45am then you've missed your chance.
MickyD Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 They've extended to 9.50 now I hear. I'm confident, my bar only has an inch or two to go!
liamBWFC Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Fuck never thought about logging on earlier to get in the que to purchase the tickets!
YATESY Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Its worse than trying to buy Take That tickets for the Mrs
liamBWFC Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hopefully it goes down quick as people start to buy tickets at half past, dont wanna be waiting for an hour!
freds dad Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Its worse than trying to buy Take That tickets for the Mrs Are you sure they are for the Mrs?
Gaz Nt Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) When you buy your tickets online, how do the ticket office designate your seat? Say your wanting to buy a ?50 ticket, do they start at one end of the stand and work their way across until the section is full? Therefore if you buy your tickets straight away you'll prob be in a corner and if you wait a day or so you'll end up directly behind the goal? OR... Do you get to choose which block you want to sit in when ordering? I'm just 'in the queue' online now. Edited March 24, 2011 by Gaz Nt
YATESY Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Read the bit on the official site about picking 10 at a time. That explains things

I think you just pick the price you want to pay, the actual allocation of which seats you get will go on after the sales are over in a couple of weeks. In case one team doesn;t sell and the other needs more tickets, they can't allocate the seats near the segregation bit yet... Or maybe not, I'll find out when this bar gets to the end in about 10 hours... ;(
fruitbat69 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 "Online Box office is busy" Looks like it's connected to dial up tinternet and not broadband. Blue bar will get to end about dinner time
tylswhite Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Id rather be in an online queue than in person, my bar is on about 70% now. Im just waiting for my computer to blow up when it hits 100%
tylswhite Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Im now on 100% but it just keeps flashing with the bar full Dont get your hopes up with that bar!
Gaz Nt Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 To be fair to the ticket office, this online service is pretty decent. At least you know where abouts you are in the queue. For most big events/concerts, the website either crashes or just keeps on loading and you just end up sat watching the screen for hours! Well done ticket office!
YATESY Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 The page on the official site talks about 10 at a time as that is the length of a row of seats. You then need to go back to selecting a block to attempt to get all your seats together in one block
MickyD Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Can't remember if you need a log-in, password, etc for BWFC tickets online. If so, probably worth folk re-acquainting themselves in advance of Thursday. I know I'm a bugger for forgetting and I imagine, unless its all automated, then the last thing BWFC will be wanting to do is issue new passwords, etc. Might be talking a load of bollocks - just my own dimwit opinion. Wish I'd done this now. My client ref number on the screen isn't the same as on my card therefore no tickets today for me. I'm going down the email route now.
ex_midlandwhite Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I'm reliably informed that ours have now been bought online, all very smooth apparently, well done BWFC
