A superb season. Top 10 finish and an FA Cup Semi Final.   Absolutely magnificent achievement with a lack of resources and one of the lowest supported teams in the league.   Well done OC, hope you

  • i'm so excited i'll be coming in my trunks

What a goal that is :yahoo:

4-3 blackpool my link is about 5 mins behind

Ripped apart on the break

TWO TEAMS THAT JUST CANNOT DEFEND..I HAVE A FIVER ON 4-3 BLACKPOOL ...COULD HAPPEN..

Bet you got dead decent odds on that Fella

Wolves's win means we now have the worst away record in the division.

Blackpool will still go down anyway, cannot see Blackpool beating United regardless of how many players Munich rest.

We've just let 4 goals in against a Championship side. You don't need Opta to tell you that, something has to give. They can leave Steinsson and Robinson on the beach and charge 50p a ride.

The only way they can stay up is if they get a point at the filth and either Brum lose both remaining games or Wolves get tubbed at home by Blackburn.

Sunderland last week and Blackpool today 2 very winnable games. We would have been 7th if we'd won them both.

A draw would keep Blackpool up if Wolves lose by 2, or if Birmingham get no more than a point in their last two & suffer a hit to their goal difference. I'd like them to stay up as they've been colourful, entertaining and they'd take up a relegation place next season. But they're so open United could have a field day.

I'm more concerned about us holding on to a top half place.

Just got back, that was fucking wank. Not much else to say.

I'm more concerned about us holding on to a top half place.

We could easily end up in the bottom half, not that I'm bothered either way. The sad thing is that we were hoping to be close to a European place, we're now in terms of points going to be a lot closer to a relegation place than a top 6 place.

Fortunatley we've had a reasonable home record, as the away record has been cack. If we were to lose next week, which isn't inprobable, that'll be on 5 straight defeats to end a season with

Basically, our season ended when we didn't turn up on the semi-final, I just want it to end now, we're in bloody free fall!

1 point from the last 36 away .......

only realised it was early ko at 12:00

Queuing to get in stadium through 4 turnstiles

Missed 1st goal

Fair play to Blackpool.

Davies didn't win a single header all day

Sturridge is a petulant little cunt

The law of averages say we should have got more than that, but if you have a defence that can't defend (all season) then you will get punished. 2 solid no frills fullbacks needed next season. Steinssons defensive play is schoolboy at best. Robinson is having a mare and is always targeted as a weak link

Elmo off then?

Steinsson was shite , can't believe how easy we shipped goals. SKD looks knackered

Whilst I applaud our attacking play and coyles let's go and win every game, sometimes especially away from home you just have to be solid and patient withouttrying to score at every opportunity

Davies won a fair few headers from where i was sat.

Not saying he had a blinder mind.

Were you sat outside?

Last time we played them on cup final day they beat us 4-3 then (May 1953)

Were you sat outside?

Nope. Row 4. You can borrow my glesses if you like?

He is coming to the end though, for us.

gardner had a decent game

gardner had a decent game

Aye but I don't think he can do a full game

Matty Taylor was our best player today. Our defending was total wank, we should of won that game comfortably.

It was an entertaining game, its pointless trying to be critical now isnt it?

On average in the Prem, 46 points gets you 13th.

If we lose to City, maybe that's where we're headed.

A win should keep us in the top half .... just.

Poor momentum over the final stretch of a season has a nasty habit of affecting the start of the next season, which in turn leaves a club playing catch-up.
