You cant count

Same goal difference and Pool have scored more goals

If Birmingham get relegated, they could find themmselves in massive trouble again next year, as well as having to play 46 league games, they would also have to shoehorn in plenty of Europa League games as well, they'll be playing twice a week every week!

I have a feeling that Blackpool will get a result against Man u ...but i don't think it will be enough to save them from the drop ..With that in mind Wigan and Blackpool to join West Ham

A lot will depend upon whether Man U show respect to the Premier league and play a full strength side. However I am not holding my breath that they will. Three points to Blackpool and one of the sides above them will lose, so Pool stay up and I hope they do.

Man u will have the Champions League final in mind ..they've nothing to play for on Sunday and i hope Blackpool stay up....I've really enjoyed them being in the Premier league this season .

In, Owen Coyle stylee I can see the positives in any two from those 5 going down.

It will be one of the highlights of my weekend, taking pleasure from those teams' misery. :pardon:

They'll get out of the Europa League at the earliest opportunity, if they go down.

Could do with those SKY scenarios of ups & downs.

Would be interesting if they do put out a weakened team, Blackpool get the points and other results mean Wolves go down.

Wonder what Mick McCarthy would think about putting weak teams out then

when asked he said he wasn't bothered if Utd did and questioned if they had a weak squad anyway

I reckon Blackpool will lose but still stay up due to a Brum bumming and Wigan defeat...

I think birm and blackpool will go, can see wigan sneaking a point

From a disliking team point i prob want wigan to go although i do quite like martinez to be honest so not as overly bothered about them going as if someone like jewell was in charge

from a having money to spend perspective ideally lets have birm/bburn going, unlikely combo like, as it'll make our life easier next season if wigan and blackpool are still in the leauge - can see bburn spending, and passing us next season for example

Spurs are in the Europa league regardless of what happens on Sunday due to being given a fair play place, that could increase Birminghams chances if Spurs have fuck all to play for, that being said, I have still gone for Brum and Blackpool.

I would be ecstatic if Blackburn went down, that would be piss funny.

Me too. Can't see it happening though. Which is partly a result of us rolling over at Ewood a few weeks ago.

1. Spurs aren't "in it already". They are marginally ahead of Fulham, but, for example, a red card on Sunday could lose that place. Or 'Arry pouring a bucket of water over the 4th official.

2. The Fair Play team start on June 30th. The 5th league team start on August 18th.

I badly wanted Wigan to go down, but from a selfish point of view, it might be better if they stay up as I cannot see them finishing above us next year, if Blackpool also stay up ( and I heard from Blackpol fans that Bobby Charlton went ta a Jimmy Armfield do this season and said if Man U won the league by the last game that they would not let Blackpool down at OT in the last game) and Blackpool both stayed up that would virtually guarantee another season in the biggest league in the world for our great club.

Bookies think it's between Blackpool, brum and Wigan obviously but wolves are about 7's and rovers 10's

Quid on each of those for me I think as anything can happen on the last day

I have just done the predictor and its Blackpool and Birmingham for me.

On another note, I have us finishing 13th which would mean no improvement at all between Megsons last full season and Coyles first full season. (this is obviously hypothetical at the minute)

Spurs will want to qualify via the league as i think the Fair play entry has to go through at least one qualifying round and I think that is at the end of July when most teams are in a pre-season tour. For that reason they'll look to be putting 3 or 4 past that sad brum team, just what they deserve after lording it up after the league cup win :yahoo:

For practical reasons, I want them down. They could stay up and splash a lot of cash next season. As opposed to Wigan, who will still be below average, Blackpool, who will be relegation nailed-on and Brum, who will always be down there. Wolves likewise. Blackburn and Birmingham would be the dream relegation ticket for me.
