Traf
Someone had to say something. The manager, his captain, vice captain and more senior players either aren't doing so or they're being ignored.

BOWTUN BAKED
I for one am getting sick & tired of hearing players sound bites in the papers. They say one thing then produce the exact bloody opposite. It's about time they had proper words with each other but more the time to let their feet do the talking. Put the Ping-Pong & darts away get back on the training pitch so they can comfortably last 90 minutes & back in the classroom to tactically pick apart an opposition

athywhite1958
I think Steve 'the brolly' McClaren would make a beltin assistant manager to OC, pass on his experience and knowledge with no can to carry, and, get paid well for it. Moderators Casino Posted November 1, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 1, 2011 Beat me to it. Muamba was run out of town for playing better. elmander was shit taylor was shit ffs, i've even read folk playing down the quality of lee muamba is a good player nrc is a good player both should be given a dozen games together, not 10 fcuking minutes and give up on it it was good enough to start the season with and we won 4-0! I agree with what your saying but Reo Coker has looked poor. Maybe its because hes been left with too much to do in a 2 man midfield? Who knows? Reo coker has got it in him but he simply hasnt shown it enough so far. Maybe if Muamba returned to give him a hand we would be better all round? Im still shocked that fucking fairy Pratley is playing TBH.

YATESY
For some reason Coyle just doesn't fancy Muamba. I cant think of any other reason why, after featuring in the QPR win and his good performances at Villa and Arsenal in the cup, he's still not regained a place in the Premiership team. I still can't see what Pratley has to offer. Unless of course, Coyle is one of these managers who blindly picks players he has signed over those he inherited? Moderators Casino Posted November 1, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 1, 2011 he also played well at arsenal in the league we all know his deficiencies, and fcuk me, they were exposed at liverpool not sure dragging him off after 20 minutes was the thing to do with a bloke whose confidence appears fragile it wasn't like the rest of em played like barca

Weve got two fannies playing on the wings and then weve got NRC the only player in midifield who can defend or win a tackle. Coyle surely must look at that and think no wonder we are conceding goals left right and centre. M Davies and Pratley when they play are there for the creative side but we arent scoring fucking goals or creating many chances so work that one out. Garrp
the irony in all the muamba posts is hilarious the same muamba who was getting the robinson treatment all last season and the season before and the season before now hes the first name down on the teamsheet its hilarious maybe the same people shouldn't have been on his back all that time eh? before anyone starts, im muamba fan, those of you who are know you are as well, but it was a tiny, tiny minority. it just goes to show what idiot fans we have

Two of our most slated ever Muamba and Elmander are no longer in the team/fucked off and look at us now, the midfield is like a turnstile and we cant score in a fucking brothel. tarian1979
Its all relative to your present team though Last year muamba wasnt great, we had a fit Holden, we had a fit lee - ie he was one of the weaker players that was playing every week at that point. Now though, no lee, no holden in the middle, we've shite like Pratley playing, then yeh id have muamba in there for sure. Hes certainly good enough to be playing for a duff team thats trying to avoid relegation. Is he a top half player, then no. my take is you should try to improve your best 11 each window by replacing the weakest one or two in your team there and gradually improve like that. At the moment muamba should be playing and wouldnt be in the weak few in the team given injuries and some of the shite weve got playing. Whole left side id be looking for improvements first. Muamba was one of the weaker players? Get to fuck. When Muamba and Holden were in centre midfield together is when we were at our best and up in 6th place. If we had a fully fit squad our two best centre midfielders are still Muamba and Holden. Reo coker would probably be decent next to Holden too but we havent had chance to see that yet. If seeing how shit our midfield is now doesnt draw you a fucking picture that Muamba is a decent player then your off your rocker. If you think it was all Holden, again your off your rocker. YATESY
Sounds odd this but Muamba has always been one of the best players in the Premiership without the ball. Problem at the moment is that we have no one to play with him who is consistently good with the ball for Muamba to give it to.

No no i think your misintepreting what im trying to say ok i'll put it this way When we had a fit team last season of Jaaskelainen Steinsson or whoever Robinson Cahill Knight Muamba Holden Lee Petrov Sturridge on loan Davies To improve that all along i said firstly get your best centre half in from in the club first Wheater for Knight - fk off and sit on the bench calamity knight I then said and will stick too drop the keeper and put in Al habsi. Then where do you look to improve that 11 transfer wise: For me it would always be and always will be FULL BACK - yet i get shouted down the full backs are ok - from that 11 could anyone serously say the weak points arent the full backs (maybe petrov) I would then look to improve the left mid Then a centre forward Once that was done id look for tackling mid that could also play football (hence replace muamba). so ok not weak link but middle ground. I woudlnt be looking to replace cahill, lee, holden etc, and i think wheater can be ok if the midfield doing well and we aint got shit full backs, and al habsi would of had potential be adequate in goal. for the record i think muamba should be playing every week at the moment b4 reo coker and pratley (the 2nd i think is bloody awful) and would still prob be in my team if everyone was fit as i doubt you could of done all of the above in one window If you had though say Al habsi Two new full backs who do ok (jury out on boyata, mears not been seen cant see him being a world beater though) Cahill Wheater Lee Holden Muamba New left mid Ngog One other say Davies Then the muamba position in that time is where i would be looking to improve - not saying he aint good enough for the team now etc!
