I'm back on the 5-aside pitch tonight for the first time in about 4 months due to injury

Bet summat goes before the hour is out

My problems lie with constantly getting injured. Oh and my knees are fucked from operations

Gym tomorrow night whatever happens tonight

Got my diet shop in last night....keeping it varied to keep me interested but I have lunch meetings today, tomorrow and Friday....it's so hard to order a salad in a restaurant for a main as a bloke

IMO for losing weight Calorie intake is more important to Fat content

You would be surprised at how many "healthy food" have a huge amount of calories in them.

An average adult male will consume and burn off 2k calories a day, consume less and you will lose weight, consume more and dont change your lifestyle you will gain weight

I am the same, I work in Bolton town centre so its far to easy to grab a take away or similar during lunch, i am also partial to pigging out on crap at my desk all day.

So am knocking them all on the head at least until i get rid of this stone of fat around my gut.

So cup a soup for din dins, healthy tea, and no crap in between.

Garrp's breakfast smoothie (Nicked from a cook book)

1 chopped bannana

handfull of frozen rasberry and blueberries

2 spoons of natural yoghurt

handful of oats

half a glass of apple juice

whizz it all in a blender/liquidizer/smoothie maker

takes 2 minutes

healthy and seriosuly tasty as fuck and can have it on the way to work.

I did really well in 2011 and am hoping to do even better again in 2012

What I found that worked for me was to do more stuff outside the gym becasue I got bored as fuck with that.

5 a side football

Running

Bike

Boxing sessions

squash

Easy to stick too especially if there are a few of you together.

The problem with that is this:

You're nowhere near full for the amount of stuff you've consumed.

If you ate them all separately, you'd feel fuller for longer and less likely to go snack hunting mid-morning.

For example, a pint of orange juice is easily drunk first thing in a morning.

However if you ate the 14 oranges instead that made the pint of juice: you'd be at it all day.
