we were divorced when my aunt died.... by 7 weeks

I am not mean 9despite being a Scot) and will clear our marital debts that she is paying and make sure she can afford somewhere to live.

I am not vindictive, but am also sick of getting the piss taken out of me so won't give in to her demands.

If you're going to do this, make sure that you pay them off. Don't give her the money to do it. She'll go off on a beano, then come back saying they're still 'our' debts.

Id ask my boss can i borrow ?50 it out of the petty cash and explain why, it will be put back on the 13th and here's my valued watch as my word :good:

I advance a few of my lot from time to time

Particularly this month as we pay early in December for Xmas so it's 6 weeks to January pay day

Try your boss as BB says Jazza, you never know...

Good advice....

The thing is, it maybe isn't a bad thing to be skint for a week, there will be no chance of me yielding to temptation and buying lager. This way I'll be on the wagon for 2 weeks at least since I haven't had a beer since New Year.

Anyway. I'm off to Asda now for my pot noodles and have managed to hunt out another couple of quid in change that was lying about the house, so might even treat myself to milk and bread too. I've also delved into the darkest recesses at the back of my freezer and have found some chicken gujons, some mince and Asda smart price oven chips, so food parcels not required :jump:

Great discipline, pal

Not really.. i fuckin hate the stuff, but being Scottish and liking a drink, my exes family kept buying me whisky as presents. I've tried mixing it with all sorts like ribena, Orange cordial, even bovril but it still tastes like shite.

Sober it is for me!!

Thanks all, but I'm fine, it's a wierd feeling waking up at 5am on a Saturday feeling fresh!

I get paid on Friday so will be ok 'til then

If the worst comes to the worst, there's a co-op in carlisle who's card machine lets you go overdrawn (at least that's what I've been told) So I can go there on Mon/Tues and sort myself out.

It's alright having an ATM which shows you to go overdrawn except i'm sure your bank won't slow out without slapping you with a hefty bill for unauthorised overdraft.

?8 is the charge, looked into it

don't see how it's relevant though

Just canny believe it, mon.

Anyhow, I take it you don't get taxed on this windfall because you're north of the border? It's ?325k down here.

I say you block buy 30 tickets for a home match for WWayers later this season. We'll all pay for your ale.

Also, I'd be off round to your ex missus house wearing a big crown and burning tenners on her lawn.

Made up for you.
