I am not into motorcycle racing really, it is exciting enough and I always admired the bottle that these lads have but the whole scene has just gone way up in my estimation.

 

I just watched TT - Closer to the edge, and it is simply the best sporting film I've ever seen!

 

You don't have to be into the sport, in fact the less you know about it the better but you simply HAVE to watch it.

I've just watched it again... even though I knew what happened I still really enjoyed it

The surfing documentary 'Riding Giants' was on television a few weeks back. This is another sport where, like the TT, life and limb are risked for relatively little (if any) monetary gain.

Remember The Titans. Based on a true story. Denzel Washington superb and a brilliant soundtrack. Features The Hollies (Mancs) 'Long cool woman in a black dress' which most folk think Creedence Clearwater Revival did. Very under rated band The Hollies.

 

Whatever happened to Wartime Wanderers?

Should be out later this year. Just had big investment from a US DVD producer, so will get limited cinema release closely followed by DVD. One for this year's Christmas stocking....

Slapshot is fantastic, always had a soft spot for Chariots of Fire, Field of Dreams & Raging Bull is worth it for the fight scene's alone.
