Been robbed at home over weekend.

 

Value of goods gone are about a grand as new.

 

excess is 250.

 

if insurance value goods at a grand do i get the excess back aswel?

 

it won't matter if I find the fucking rats.

so I will have to shell out ?250 to get back the value of my goods and they don't refund that.

Only if you want to commit fraud

 

 

An excess is exactly that. You pay it. You could have reduced the excess by paying a higher premium.

And adding the value of the excess to your claim is precisely why another thread on here bemoans the cost of insurance .
