I was stranded on the A 34 with two mates trying to thumb a lift back up north on Cannock Chase in 1970, a couple of years earlier three schoolgirls had been abducted and raped and dumped in the area. We never did get a lift that night but managed to walk to Stafford station.

I watched a programme about the Columbine Murderers last night.

Fuck me, they were mental & the local police useless. I had horrible dreams ater it, but I think it might've been the Night Nurse.

When I was really young, remember being disturbed by 'The News' reporting a mass hunt through forests in Yorkshire ( i think)

Must have been a famous killer, but too young for me to understand, still think about it though.

Not going to sleep tonight now.

i might be a bit odd but i do like programmes like that i find it interesting how their mind ticks. what was the name of the programme?

Virgin Tech sticks in my mind as well as the norway chap who caused an explosion downtown and then went to that island and killed a bunch of them, his name slips my mind

It was on one of those weirdo crime channels, you know, the 500 and somethings you flick through when you can't sleep.

I'm sure it was just called "The Columbine Murderers".

They were nutters who videoed everything they did, even down to the dress rehearsal.

Remember Ian Brady and Myra Hindley being splashed all over the newspapers when I was about 12. Like F08 ever since then I have had a fascination for how a murderer's mind works.

Unsolved murders

Boring fact. My ex sister in law lived on the same road.

She reckoned they didn't wash the blood properly from the tiles on the front door step & the mortar was forever more stained.

She is a bit ghoulish though.

The trial took place at around the same time as that of James Bulgar's killers and consequently got less attention than it should have done. I hope the horrible fuckers who murdered her are never released.

Your kids should always come home from school

Watching that footage was the first time I've cried in 20 odd years.

Religion has a lot to answer for.
