Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 13, 2012 Site Supporter Posted February 13, 2012 A S/T is looking less and less value. I know we all want a full house and the atmosphere that goes with that but, as Saturday showed, full house is one thing, atmosphere is a different thing. Quote

mickbrown Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 They should chuck in all home cup matches free with a season ticket because as pointed out already, there's next to no benefit to having a season ticket anymore. One group of folk the club shouldn't be pissing off especially at the moment, is one of their sources of fixed income. Quote
Traf Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 ?22, they say? I'd want paying more than that. Quote

I certainly won't be bothering getting one next season as i could have been to the same games i have made it to for a lot less. Quote

Site Supporter barryk32 Posted February 14, 2012 Site Supporter Posted February 14, 2012 You can get a legitimate ticket for every home game for a tenner. Thats 190 quid. How much was a season ticket? Quote

BOWTUN BAKED Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 aye, through your local junior football club i do know fox n stork knock em out whether its thru the pub or a club, i dunno I've read something about this somewhere, don't the junior club actually get some of that tenner? So you're also helping out the kids football too? So the Wanderers aren't even making the whole tenner either, stuff it, they may as well let us STH in for free next year? Yeah reet !! Quote

One group of folk the club shouldn't be pissing off especially at the moment, is one of their sources of fixed income. Should offer loyalty discount, bit like no claims bonus. 10% off, for example, after 5 years of continuously having a ticket. Give people some incentive. Think Liverpool used to do this at one time- could be wrong though Edited February 15, 2012 by Tonge moor green jacket Quote
Pablo Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 They do them at our club ?10 a ticket, half goes back to BWFC. Cant fault that for getting bums on seats, but cant be helping the clubs finances. Crowd wise, in the league you do quite well. Not sure the club can do any more for you. Quote
Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 15, 2012 Site Supporter Posted February 15, 2012 You say it can't be helping the club finances but, apart from the cost of printed ticket, it's all extra profit. The tickets are for seats that woukd ordinarily remain empty. If it was a sell out and the club were still giving out tenner tickets then there would be an issue. Quote
