Moderators Casino Posted February 15, 2012 Moderators Posted February 15, 2012 You say it can't be helping the club finances but, apart from the cost of printed ticket, it's all extra profit. The tickets are for seats that woukd ordinarily remain empty. If it was a sell out and the club were still giving out tenner tickets then there would be an issue. all of them? Quote
Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 15, 2012 Site Supporter Posted February 15, 2012 There are very few sell-out crowds so yes, I'd stick my neck out and say all of them. Quote

I would say that close sell out have been because of the ?10 tickets! They dont offer them out, because they are not selling well, they just offer them out as soon as possible. Quote
Members DazBob Posted February 15, 2012 Members Posted February 15, 2012 Whether we sell tickets cheap or not, we still don't sell the ground out. It makes more sense to sell seats cheaply than have them empty, especially to folk who bring their brats along who will spend money on hot-dogs, crisps, fizzy pop, etc. Of course all this comes back to what is the point in having a season ticket apart from having the guarantee of the same seat week-in, week-out. It makes little sense, financially, to have one these days. Quote

SalfordOriginal Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I've known plenty who have taken advantage of freebies or cheap tickets who still went when these were not knocking about They just choose to try and keep as much money in their pockets first The club will be getting a percentage of new customers but also loosing out on others Personally I think they should aim for the kids (for a quid) as you could entice a full paying adult to off set the cost as well as recruit a fan for life (or put them off if Wigan is anything to go by) Quote
no balls Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 The kids for a quid thing is an awful experience. A load of Chav lads giving it 10 men in Nobhead corner and us ladies struggling to get to the sinks in the toilets for the 15 Chez Cole wannabes wearing more make up than Boots sell a week. Quote
KP Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 so everybopdy who buys a 10 pound ticket wouldn't normally attend? aye, alreet fwiw I've no problem with it, but you're wrong I don't have a season ticket and usually attend most games with a reguar match ticket. A cheap deal is just a bonus. I know a few more do the same, so it definately isn't every seat. Quote
bwfc2003 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 They do them at our club ?10 a ticket, half goes back to BWFC. Cant fault that for getting bums on seats, but cant be helping the clubs finances. Crowd wise, in the league you do quite well. Not sure the club can do any more for you. Why do Everton give BWFc ?5 a seat? Quote

no balls Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Try pissing in the toilet then. Thing is washing one's hands seems to be a alien concept to those lovely young ladies or you'd think so if you saw their faces whne you try to put your hand under a tap. If they used good quality fake tan on their hands they'd be able to be orange and hygienic. They could learn a lot from older slappers Quote

Moderators Zico Posted February 16, 2012 Moderators Posted February 16, 2012 They should chuck in all home cup matches free with a season ticket because as pointed out already, there's next to no benefit to having a season ticket anymore. One group of folk the club shouldn't be pissing off especially at the moment, is one of their sources of fixed income. which is ace if we go on a cup run, in both cups, and all the games are at home if we got an away game and went out first round, folk would moan we got knocked out on purpose to avoid having to let everyone in for free for me, ?15 a game is fine knowing I don't have to p?ss about sorting out a ticket each week via ticketmaster, the club or whoever personally I'm really not arsed what the club offer if it gets some mates along who may not bother normally, i took my old man last game for ?5, had to apologise after mind - am sure if you worked it out, through deals and what not, the cost of going to every game in the NSL over a season would be more than ?285 Quote
