He was in the Vulcan last night Wov...

He looked much better the last time i saw him & I hoped ( we all did ) that he could get through it. Tragically it wasn't to be

Its of some consolation that he spent his last night on earth in familar places with familiar faces & I hope his last thoughts

were happy ones. RIP Miggy

Didn't know him as well as others but he kept me well amused on trips to Berlin, Hamburg & Middlesbrough.

The rock and the German bar window left me in tears - very very funny. As was his collar mic.

Also didn't know he was ill, poor lad. RIP Miggy

24 hours on and Iam still numb. Spoke to his mate JD earlier and its heartbreaking. Thoughts goes out to his family and daughter.

A few weeks after losing Captain Wakes too, been a sad start to the year.

Today is the day for Miggy's final journey. It is going to be a very difficult and emotional day but I know he is up there having a pint or two with other whites who were taken too soon.

RIP Miggi gone but never forgotten.

I only heard the sad news on Mon as I have not been around much.

I remember the lad from years ago (and his brother) and bumped into him from time to time.

I hope he gets a good send off today, RIP ...

Erhelberts Church was full, much to the appreciation & comfort of his family, Father Philip Brady an old schoolfriend of Miggys gave a beautiful speach, as did his brother Kevin & sister Kerry. We said goodbye to him at Overdale with a tune from The Killers blasting away ( Are we Human ) that put a smile on face for the first time that day. Followed by the wake at The Rumworth Club we gave the lad a good send off that's for sure. RIP Miggy, gone but not forgotten.
