Sweep
Does anybody have it? - is it as good as it seems? I'm considering getting it, but would rather know if anybody else has used it before I dole out circa ?100 Or is there another, cheaper way of connecting an iPad to my TV that I don't know about? (yes I know....iPad Wanker)

Sweep
Depends what you want to do with your iPad and your tv. I get SkyGo on my iPad (using somebody elses log in details) - and I want to be able to watch the stuff on SkyGo (ie Skysports) on my nice big telly instead of the pokey little iPad screen
Moderators Carlos Posted February 22, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 22, 2012 Can you not just get a TV out cable? On Android I can use a ?3 mini-HDMI cable, bet it's not ?3 for an apple one...

mickbrown
Actually - that's not strictly true. It can be done but you have to jailbreak your iPad - then there is a mirroring app that lets you do it. You'll void your warrenty though. kaydan
I like it. AirPlay mirroring from iPad is very cool. Streams your music, photos very nicely. I believe that jailbreaking it opens up all kinds of possibilities, but I've not been arsed yet. For ?99 it's a good bit of kit.
