RUREADY2ROLL
Next Sunday could be our last game in the top division for many a year; but all we need to do is win Three of us going and aim to get there early doors as we need a good drink before this one. Please please please dont dress in fancy dress and look like tossers as many baggies fans did today No predictions for this we just need to win it and hope that City complete the task of winning the league. RUREADY2ROLL
If we do win against all the odds and stay up; how many are going to be singing Owen Coyle's praises of the nearly 3000 whites? I wont; have done it before even though I know he a massive factor in this seasons failures. He should not get a mention
Moderators Carlos Posted May 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2012 If we stay up, we've done it despite of him. We'd have been sat on 40 odd points had he got a proper doctor on Holden, not taken the squad to Newport, decided who he rates and sticking with it rather than picking the team out of a tombola, got in a defensive coach who had a fucking clue and spent what little money we had on positions that needed strengthening. However, that's for the post-mortem.

Dont think we need a post-mortem - anybody who has got a clue what football is all about would agree with everything you have said above and what 98% of posters on here are saying. Nice man but absolute clown of a football manager

no balls
Do other clubs have a specific defensive coach? Then again, do other clubs have 2 goalkeeping coaches but only one goalie?

worthy10
3 teams must get relegated each season. They are the worst teams in the league. We surely come in that category? Our players are simply not skilful, strong, fast, fit or determined enough. The vast majority are coyle's players. He has an integral responsibility for their collective talents. He also has responsibility for tactics, before and during a game. He consistently fails this challenge. He replicates the deficiencies of his team because he too is not good enough. I know it's mixing metaphors but "you can't make a silk purse out of a turd" Edited May 7, 2012 by worthy10
GeorgeOghani'sIroningBoard
Do other clubs have a specific defensive coach? Then again, do other clubs have 2 goalkeeping coaches but only one goalie? Fred Barber was begged to stay by Gartside when Jussi wouldn't play ball with Hughes. Jussi out of the team, Fred in the doghouse, the 3 Burnley arseholes still sat on the bench by Owen and the drop beckoning. Worst backroom staff since McFarland was "joint manager"
tylswhite
From what i heard Coyle is a stubborn cunt and doesnt like being told what to do. It certainly seems to add up as he seems to always do what he wants rather than what will get us points etc. A few people in his setup apparantly told him that Vela should be playing as hes ready but he doesnt take any notice. no balls
From what i heard Coyle is a stubborn cunt and doesnt like being told what to do. That'll be why he clashed with St. Rioch of Burnden.
tylswhite
That'll be why he clashed with St. Rioch of Burnden. Possibly, he would of probably fucking slapped him if he was as tough as people made out! Its weird though as Coyle doesnt really come across that way in interviews to me. Hes a good fucking actor! Trouble weve got is if we go back down and he gets us back up is he gonna be the same again? Stubborn, stupid and clueless?
