A few down here of Italian extraction giving it the usual 'England are shiyte' routine and this has been my response.. They may be reet - who knows. Here's hoping they are well and truly wrong.

Don't think anyone is getting carried away Alf. We are only discussing the one game. No one is suggesting we'd win the tournament (yet). Quarter finals at best (always a safe bet).

Ive watched every game so far and we have nothing to fear. If our players play to their potential and have some belief we have a decent chance imo. Ive not seen 6 teams better than us so far and thats not being biased at all.
