July 1, 201213 yr I dont get why not. If its good enough for the WC it should be good enough for the euro's. However, IMHO they should knock it ont head int world cup too as its a nothing game and is always shit.
July 1, 201213 yr Did many England fans stay on for the one we had in 1990 or most just went home after the Germany semi? Always feels like such a waste of time, surely players just want to get straight out of there after losing a Semi not have to hang on another 4 days
July 1, 201213 yr Waste of time. A lot of teams used to play the squad players that hadnt figured, but even they couldnt be arsed. Some countries taake it more seriously than others. Italy were more up for it in 1990 as they were hosts.
July 1, 201213 yr The last time it was played in the Euros was 1980. Czechoslovakia beat Italy 9-8 on pens after extra-time and a 1-1 draw. Pointless game IMHO too.
