miamiwhite Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) Even though yesterday was a decent performance and the tide seems to be turning,I think next week's game is trickier than people think. Palace have got some decent young fast players in their side and will have to be paid special attention. For that reason, injuries permitting and not falling out with Coyle during the week,I'm going for the same side as yesterday with the exception of Marcus Alonso who has to be replaced by Stephen Warnock. I predict 16,709 spectators to witness a very entertaining 3-3 draw, and Marvin Sordell to watch it in the Vulcan. Neil Whatmore,Dusan Nikolic and Taddy Nowak for us,with Geoff Thomas managing a hat-trick on his deathbed. back to the timeless classic of ''coyle out'' and wanderersways offline at 3-43pm normal service resmued folks Edited September 28, 2012 by Happy Wanderer Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Any scabby win will do they have lots of youth and pace, hopefully our experience will see us through, it would set us up for a big crowd and big game against Leeds midweek I'm really looking forward to that game. Quote

Site Supporter MickyD Posted September 23, 2012 Site Supporter Posted September 23, 2012 Clean sheets are for girls. Will take 2-1, 3-1 etc all day and night long. Coywm Absolutely. I don't particularly give a fuck about goals scored as long as goals for is a higher number. Quote
Guest Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Absolutely. I don't particularly give a fuck about goals scored as long as goals for is a higher number. It's a nice idea, but the reality of no clean sheets often ends up in relegation Quote
Gumbo Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 it's clear. lets be honest. we don't defend well so will concede, so in kevin keegan style we will have to score two or three to win a game. just something we have to get used to Quote
Site Supporter MickyD Posted September 23, 2012 Site Supporter Posted September 23, 2012 We don't score 2 or 3 though. We score two and let them score 1 just so we spend the last 15 minutes wishing the next 15 minutes of our lives away. How comfortably we'd feel if we tried getting a two goal lead with still quarter of an hour to go. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 alonso against any winger than runs at him, scares the shit out of me. Wilfred Zaha v Marcos Alonso could be an issue but if he's going to have any future with us then he needs to start showing it and nows the time go on Marcos lad shut the nobbers up Quote
Arrested development Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Zaha is the one that worries me too. Looks a good player. Don't know that much about the rest of the palace team. it's a game we need to win though. As lomg as we are organised and defend properly we'll get the three points. Quote
Members DazBob Posted September 23, 2012 Members Posted September 23, 2012 3-1 to us. Mills, Eagles, Afobe. Quote
miamiwhite Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 i've only just noticed that they signed that david goodwillie on loan from the banjo players. Keep Zaha quiet and we'll be ok,as i've said in my earlier post,Alonso has to be replaced at left back,no room for sentiment or passengers. should put him up front, probably do as good as a job as Afobe and score as many as SKD Quote
frank_spencer Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 4 nil to us. Palace are rubbish Tell that to Cardiff. Plus they're level on points with us. 1-1 Quote
Garrp Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Every single team we play some judge gives it the rubbish line. Its getting boring now Quote
Atomic White. Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 6-0 to us, should of scored more though. COYLE OUT!" Quote
