I think the timing is right to get rid of OC. The point made by PG was "we have still got time to get back on track."

Therefore we can't risk a part time consortium for even one game.

So it must be before Saturday with enough time for him to have any impact.

Monday or Tuesday at the latest surely?

Depends if pg's number one target ogs is keen to join in november, gartside might think its a risk worth taking. if not then we will probably have someone in place by saturday.

The Notrwegian League finishes on the last weekend of November. Molde are currently leading, so OGS may well be reluctant to move before then, even if he wishes to take the job. Bolton then have a Tuesday match (at Blackburn) - the ninth match from now!

If it's not OGS, then MMcC later this week is feasible.

Unless Molde wrap it up earlier

Malc, speculating.

The Norwegian League season finishes on 18 November (the Cup Final is the following week, and Molde are not in that).

Molde have 51 points, with 2 home (including Rosenborg) and 3 away to come (including Stromgodset and Tromso).

Rosenborg have 49, with 2 home and 3 away (including Molde and Stromgodset) to come.

Stromgodset have 48, with 3 home (including the top pair) and 2 away to come.

Tromso are 4th on 42 with a game in hand which is due on 31st October.

As Molde's next 2 matches .are away to Stromgodset and home to Rosenborg they could increase their lead, but not enough to wrap it up.

Then on 4th November Molde visit Tromso and Stromgodset host Rosenborg. HTH

Of course I did.

The wiki piece on the league gave me the current table and the outstanding fixtures, but not the dates.

Molde v Rosenborg linked into the full fixtures (on the BBC website).

it's not rocket science.

fcuking hell, it's been less than a week that we've had a vacancy

for a million pounds a year job, in a high ranking position in a company turning over 10s of millions a year and folk want appointments within a week

i'd prefer we worried about getting the right bloke not getting hung up over doing it quick

That said, those in charge might have been doing some research for a wee while

I would rather wait and get the rite man. Phil brown got us a few wins, remember a great performance at derby. I would hope that jimmy and Sammy would at least get the lads playing to prove themselves to who ever takes the job which you would hope means a victory v Bristol city

Does anyone think that if we were gonna do a mccarthy, curbs or Appleton appointment this would have been done or close to done. I wonder if its a name we haven't heard or something big to be done. As there seems to be little coming out of Bwfc(which is good) maybe a foreigner? I saw Schuster was interested in Jackburn.
