no balls Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Has Neil Lennon been mentioned yet? I don't think now is the time for sick jokes, there's enough Jimmy Savile ones going round. Quote
worthy10 Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 fcuking hell, it's been less than a week that we've had a vacancy for a million pounds a year job, in a high ranking position in a company turning over 10s of millions a year and folk want appointments within a week i'd prefer we worried about getting the right bloke not getting hung up over doing it quick Quote

athywhite Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Depends if pg's number one target ogs is keen to join in november, gartside might think its a risk worth taking. if not then we will probably have someone in place by saturday. eddie davies owns the club and he will decide who will be our next manager not fucking fartside, and if he has any sense he will fuck fartside off before he chooses one. That's right, Eddie pays Gartside oodles to simply carry out his bidding. Quote

mannyroad58 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I think Ed will go for Pep just to win back the ladies and some of the men (Big E) as ginger is just not right and they stink Quote

bolty58 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I struggle with the anti Gartside stuff. Arguably presided over our greatest ever era (others will argue the 20's or 50's but I believe taking a small town club to a top 8 premier league place and into Europe in this era is our finest ever achievement) so I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. Got a couple wrong but got one right in a very big way so I am prepare to give him a couple more chances yet. The various plays on his surname by detractors is kindergarten stuff. Quote
H Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Now Bournemouth's sorted 'Arry's off to QPR then Mark Hughes to us Quote
Gonk Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 It's Hope Powell, YHIHF - which makes the title of this thread erroneous. Garty, always thinking outside the box. Quote
Eavesy Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Whoever we get in isn't going to have much time to get things sorted. Especially with wolves away midweek close by. Expect the first few games to be 'as is' but riding on the new manager wave hopefully. Shame we couldn't have got rid before millwall, had lee\philips grind out a draw there and the new manager have the whole international break to bed in Quote

jules_darby Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I'm with Cassie Getting the right man for the right reasons is priority I'm sure jimmy and Sammy can hold the fort until such time Iirc we had a good run when Browny caretook for a while. No reason why this should be different really This is a huge appointment for he club and I'd say on a personal level for PG's legacy Move quickly by all means, but not at he expense of the right appointment Quote
