Ferdinand

For the first time in my life, I agree with him.

Wearing a t-shirt means nothing. If you want to do something about racism, take some action to deal with it.

Fergie was quoted yesterday re the lad in the Championship refusing to wear the same t-shirt.

He said something like, "The manager needs to deal with it. You can't have sheep just wandering off", or such-like.

He looks a bit (more) of a dick now does Fergie.

Edit: It was Reading's Jason Roberts. HERE is the Fregie clip.

It's called paying lip sevice, even a cunt like ferdinand understands it.

Quite right Baron, we have other issues within football to deal with which are just as serious and jack shit is said or done about them, racism will never be eradicated its as old as the world itself, and before the rest of you come on here slating me I'm against racism as much as the next man but were not living in a perfect world a million tshirts ain't going to change anything.

Kammy appears to be calling Ferdinand a cunt.

As a bloke who played back in the day when racism really was prevalent in the game, I'd take his opinion over a primadonna prick.

Remember Kamara being told by the Bradford City chairman that the fans would object to him being made manager -

CK " Why - cos I'm black?"; Chairman "No - cos you played for Leeds!".

Good point about Kamara, he was saying this morning how much work has been done across all levels of the game over many years by Kick it out, and to not wear the shirt insults the work many people, probably including himself have tried to do for many years.

And I'd take his view over the Ferdinands, Jason Roberts, and co...

Throw as much money as you want at the Kick Racism Out of Football as you want. Impose 10 match bans, 20 match bans.

... but you'll still have fuckwits in the stand who think they can shout what they want as it's' only name calling' and 'they've been called worse' and 'is it any worse than calling someone for being ginger'.

The only way to stamp racism out of the game is to stamp it out of society. People know what is right and what is wrong, it's just some people think it's their right to say whatever the fuck they want no matter who it offends. Wearing a t-shirt or not wearing a t-shirt will never change that unfortunately.

referring back to cassies post, he shouldn't of undermined fergie. Especially how he spoke to him on Friday before a press conference about it and confirmed that all his players will unite and wear the shirts. Like Jules said rio may of been wanting to make a stand but he has come across as wanting to be bigger than the club.

I heard on the radio this morning that Man Utd will not be taking any disciplinary action against Ferdinand.

I reckon that's only because of how messy it would get with the PFA if they did. After all, a club cannot force a player to wear that t-shirt.

... but the look on Ferguson's face when I saw him interviewed looked he wanted to drag Ferdinand over the coals for it. Ferguson doesn't appreciate ANYONE making a mug out of him and we've seen in the past that once you cross him your days are numbered...

Ferdinand might be lucky that they haven't got adequate cover otherwise he might be picking splinters out of his bum.

I feel quite confident that, while ManU as a club may not take any action, Alex Fergusson, the person, will not let it lie that duck-lips knew what had been said by Fergy about Roberts' stance and then still chose to make his one-man crusade.
